A Texas Landmark Since 1859

The Kendall Inn has stood at the heart of Boerne for over 160 years. What began as a stagecoach stop has evolved into one of the Hill Country's most cherished destinations. In 2024, we opened The Kendall Restaurant to honor that legacy—bringing together Texas history, local ingredients, and culinary excellence under one historic roof.

Rooted in History, Focused on Quality

Every great restaurant has a story. Ours began in 1859 when The Kendall Inn first opened its doors to weary travelers seeking rest, refreshment, and a hearty meal. Over the decades, the Inn became a gathering place for locals and a haven for those exploring the Hill Country.

Today, The Kendall Restaurant continues that tradition with a focus on what matters most: exceptional ingredients, time-honored techniques, and the kind of warm hospitality that only comes from knowing your roots.

When you dine with us, you're not just having a meal, you're becoming part of a story that's been told for over 160 years.
